With so much to see and experience at 2022 PPOPCON, fans are indeed in for a treat!

2022 PPOPCON understands the importance of having a community that allows you to fangirl/fanboy with others just like you! That is why the two-day weekend event will also include a Concert that will be at the Araneta Coliseum on April 10, 2022, 3 PM - 7 PM PHT. And a Convention that will be at the New Frontier Theater starting April 9, 2022, 10 AM PHT, until April 10, 2022, 8 PM PHT.

As previously announced, 2022 PPOPCON will feature stage performances from this great line-up: SB19, 4th Impact, Alamat, Press Hit Play, 1st.One, VXON, MNL48, BGYO, BINI, KAIA, PPOP Generation, DAYDREAM, R.Rules, G22, Calista, and DIONE.

“We are so excited and happy na makasama namin ang aming ka-P-pop groups (that we’ll be with our fellow P-pop groups)…. So happy to say na dumadami na tayo (that we’re growing),” MNL48 said.

SB19, the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to be nominated for Billboard Music Awards for Top Social Artist, also shared their excitement for the event. “We’re actually very proud kasi they have joined in this battle – a battle na para i-prove sa buong mundo na kaya ng mga Pilipino makipagsabayan internationally at syempre, maipalaganap ang culture natin,” they said.

The event will also serve as the first time for most participating groups to perform close to their fans since some of them made their debut during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Now, we have everyone here and I believe there’s strength in numbers. Someday, magkakaroon na talaga ng P-pop na genre na makikilala all over the world,” SB19 said. “Yung mga grupo dito, magkakaibigan kami. We share one heart. Buhay na buhay ‘yung pusong Pinoy sa amin, and our fans do have that as well. Hindi malabo na makilala ‘yung kultura ng Pilipinas sa buong mundo,” they added.

Is it safe?

You may be wondering whether attending and meeting your P-pop Idols is safe? Definitely! 2022 PPOPCON not only aims to make you feel closer to your idols but also feel safe. During the 2-day hybrid event, Health and Safety protocols will be strictly observed and implemented by the production and artists to ensure that everyone will enjoy it without worrying.

Audiences will also be required to present vaccination cards with complete doses. So, if you are not yet vaccinated, here is your sign! Production and technical staff will observe the same protocols and undergo COVID19 Testing.

The program will run for a maximum of four (4) hours, including an intermission in between the duration of the show, so audiences will also be monitored to observe social distancing and wearing of face masks.
