PARCINQ and The MCE Group Are Throwing the Boys of Summer 2026 Cover Unveiling in Poblacion

PARCINQ's most anticipated editorial of the year is getting a proper sendoff — and it's happening in the heart of Makati's most alive neighborhood.

On May 30, The MCE Group opens its Poblacion venues for the Boys of Summer 2026 magazine cover unveiling event. Secret Door serves as the main event venue. Lucky Al's Hideout becomes the artist lounge for the night. It's a deliberate pairing: two spaces with completely different energies, both under one group, hosting one magazine's biggest release of the summer.

The MCE Group is the newly repositioned identity of MagicCarpet Entertainment — a Makati-based hospitality collective that now operates four distinct venue concepts along Doña Carmen Street in Poblacion. Secret Door handles the late-night club crowd. Luxxe Bar and Cocktail Lounge runs on craft cocktails and high energy. Casablanca Restobar and Alfresco brings Filipino dining and live acoustics to an open-air setting. Lucky Al's Hideout is the neighborhood sports bar — casual, always full, always on. Four brands. One address. One clear direction.

The brand reposition is recent, but the work behind it isn't. Founder Alaa Qweider built The MCE Group around a specific idea of what Poblacion nightlife could be — not just a strip of bars, but a set of destinations with actual identity. The Boys of Summer partnership is the first major collaboration under the group's new name, and it sets the tone for what The MCE Group is positioning itself as:

Not just a venue, but a platform for culture.

For PARCINQ, Boys of Summer is the annual editorial that puts Filipino men and the summer season in the same frame — deliberately, confidently, without apology.
