We sat down with the incredibly talented young musician to learn more about his experience in Idol PH, what inspires his music, and what he hopes to achieve as an artist. He also shared some of the things that make him so charming and lovable - get to know him better in our exclusive interview!

Q. Introduce yourself to a new fan or a person who is interested in learning more about you.

Kice: Hi, I'm Kice. You might know me from Idol PH Season 2. I like to perform and write songs. I used to be a simple island boy, but now I'm living my dreams here in the city.

Q. What's it like to be in Idol Ph and what's your musical experience been like?

Kice: Idol PH was a roller coaster journey. I've had a lot of challenges along the way, but I also had a lot of fun since I was doing what I love. Music-wise, I've really learned a lot from the judges, the band, and of course, my fellow hopefuls. I've picked up on new techniques, and I was inspired to try out new things and get out of my comfort zone.

Q. As a musician, what inspires you to create new music? How do you tap into your creativity to come up with fresh, original tunes?

Kice: As a musician, a lot of things actually inspire me to create new music, and I think that versatility is really important in this industry. Random things, places, and people can spark the most creative ideas I have, but I might still be biased when it comes to the beach because it's where I grew up. Whenever I'm at the beach, everything just seems to flow and I don't really have to put much effort into thinking of something new to write.

Q. What is your favorite and least favorite part about being a musician?

Kice: My favorite part about being a musician is getting to inspire people and entertain them. My least favorite part however is the pressure or bashing I get sometimes because of certain standards or expectations, but it's a part of my job and I just see it as a chance for me to improve.

Q. Who would be the next artist (local or international) you would like to work with?

Kice: Taylor Swift, definitely.

Q: How do you want to be remembered in the music scene locally and globally?

Kice: I want to be remembered as the artist who wasn't afraid to do different things. I want to be the artist who took risks and kept learning.

Fun Questions

Q. You can only play one artist's album for the whole year, what would it be and why?

Kice: Ed Sheeran's X (multiply) album.

Q. If you had a choice between two superpowers, being invisible or flying, which would you choose?

Kice: Flying.

Q. What's your message to your fans?

Kice: I love you guys so much and I appreciate each and every single one of you for all the support you've been showering me with since day 1. I can't thank you all enough. I hope I'm making you proud. Can't wait to see you all again soon!
