If you’re a Filo K-pop fan, you’re probably aware of how many K-pop concerts and fan meetings are being staged this year. This reinforces the notion that Filipinos are one of the biggest surfers of the Hallyu wave. In fact, according to Twitter (now X) data reports, we consistently rank within the top five countries with the largest number of K-pop fans.

Almost every household in the country knows at least one K-pop idol—and the global chart-topping group ATEEZ is surely not an exception.

In an era where several groups are formed through survival shows, which provide them with a head start in convening a number of fans ahead of their official debut, members Yunho, San, Jongho, Mingi, Seonghwa, Yeosang, Hongjoong, and Wooyoung have taken a different track, steadily expanding their ATINYs one bop at a time.

With each new release, their fans continue to grow and become more dedicated. This unwavering support from their ATINYs significantly impacts their creative process. They serve as their inspiration and motivation to persevere even through the most exhausting days.

“Our ATINYs always wait for our new songs [to drop] and new stages [to perform], so we always try to listen to their opinions. We consider their opinions and what they want to see,” Hongjoong shares, giving importance to the special connection between them and their fans.

Now, the eight-member group is about to set sail in Manila for their first solo Philippine concert at the Araneta Coliseum on September 16. The show is part of the Asian leg of ATEEZ's "The Fellowship: Break the Wall" world tour.

We’re excited to see more hard hitting and electrifying performances as Seonghwa’s vision for the rest of the year is to reveal more facets of ATEEZ and engage their fans to stages like no other.

Furthermore, San expresses his eagerness to perform in Manila: “I’m really looking forward to it since it’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other,” he says. “I’m a food lover, so I would like to try a lot of Filipino food. That would be great.”

Hongjoong adds to what San says and teases their fans to expect stages that they have never seen before. “After last year, we released a few songs, so they can expect that too!”

Before their Manila concert kicks off, make sure to stream their 9th mini album ‘THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW,’ which is an exciting and energetic new episode following [THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT].

So ATINYs, see you at the concert grounds!
