From an idol to a fantasy actor, Justin De Dios gathers crowds as he sets foot into the world of Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre—a continuation of GMA Network’s iconic fantasy saga Encantadia.

On September 19, GMA Network released the teaser for Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre with some actors reprising their roles and some new faces, including Justin, who will be taking on the role of Ec’naad, Gatekeeper of the Door of Devas. Known as a member of the globally famous five-member P-Pop group SB19, Justin is already familiar with the skills needed to perform in front of thousands of people. Now he’s ready to deliver a different kind of performance for his fans and would-be fans.

In an exclusive interview with GMA News, he shared, “When we trained, I considered it as choreography. It's also one of my favorite scenes, the fighting scenes, because it feels like dancing.” He was also admittedly surprised by the warm reception of non-fans “I know A’TINs are excited because it's something different from SB19, from performing, but I did not expect Encantadiks to be excited about my appearance,” Justin said.

Sang’gre continues to be a big part of Philippine media history that enriches original Filipino creative storytelling. Enchanting its viewers with amazing visual effects, characterizations, and story-driven episodes. The show stars Bianca Umali, Angel Guardian, Faith Da Silva, and Kelvin Miranda.

Justin joining the cast surely brings a more magical touch to Encantadia’s worldbuilding as a new face from P-Pop bridges its way to introduce himself as a formidable character in Philippine primetime television. Catch Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre weeknights on GMA Network, 8 PM, after 24 Oras or watch it via Kapuso Stream on YouTube for global viewers.
