Three Aspirations, One Victory for Kumu x Parcinq Finalists Jaime, Sedge and Karl

Trying something new is scary at first but that did not waver Jaime’s dedication to join the KUMU x Parcinq Campaign. 


Jaime David Bellasteros Jr., also known as (@sm_jaime), believes that KUMU is a community where you can meet and create connections with new people. As someone who can only dream to be featured in a magazine, this experience was a significant first for him. But with the help of all the people supporting him, his dream turned into reality. 


He shared that during the shoot, he was scared and confused at first because he didn’t know how it would go. Eventually, he began to warm up and started enjoying the process. “I feel innocent because I don't have any idea how it will run, but during our shoot everything is amazing and happy because all the people in the photoshoot are very accommodating and you will feel we are one family,” the content creator expressed.




He stayed ahead in his game by observing and analyzing. Jaime meticulously studied his fellow KUMU candidates and the situation before strategizing his next move. His dedication paid off when he won the KUMU x Parcinq campaign, bringing him immense happiness and a feeling of luck. Achieving these milestones unlocked numerous future goals for him.


Speaking of the future, Jaime plans to continue his current activities while encouraging others to join his SM Agency and experience the opportunities he has had. For his fans, Jaime plans to offer more unique experiences, such as sharing his international travel adventures.


Jaime extends his heartfelt gratitude to all his supporters, friends, his SM agency, and most especially his beloved partner for always supporting him throughout his KUMU journey.



4th Time’s the Charm for Sedge

When it comes to showing their dedication and passion for the cause, no one can do it better than Sedge Corpuz (@sedge_), as despite his busy schedule, still found the time to join the campaign.


For him, KUMU is a platform where he can create new friends, develop his talents, entertain viewers, have fun playing games and earn at the same time. When he won he said he was full of joy and was absolutely thrilled with the results. 


“During the finale it was a nerve-racking night. But when I saw the final leaderboard, I was over the moon and I couldn't contain my happiness,” he candidly shared.


Reflecting on his journey, Sedge cherished moments like the KUMU x PARCINQ photoshoot and the 6th Anniversary Catalog Shoot. However, he also recalled challenges, such as a last-minute shoot in Guam disrupting his preparation.



Approaching his fourth year on KUMU this August, Sedge is gearing up for his regular livestreams, aiming to offer unique and engaging content each time. His aspirations include starring in KUMU commercials, station IDs, advertisements, and eventually hosting a KUMU event, sharing his travels with fans.


He extends heartfelt gratitude to supporters like SEDGERS, Goldenstar, Marcjfam, BestieSquad, Pamilyang Joined, Jbelievers, and others who believed in him. Their encouragement and sincerity fuel his journey.


This campaign underscores that even a small-time streamer like Sedge can contribute to something extraordinary.



Karl is the Best in Doing the BEST!

For Karl Josef Ramos (@karljosef.r), he considers KUMU a safe space where he can become the best version of himself, attributing significant personal growth and invaluable life lessons to his experiences on the platform.

Making it to one of the cover stars in the campaign brought Karl immense joy, especially the encouragement that he received from his beloved Solid SEFporters. 


His experience in the Kumu x Parcinq campaign was a thrilling journey filled with pure enjoyment. Among the many highlights, the photoshoots stood out as his favorite. It marked his first-ever photoshoot for a magazine, despite having previously starred in Parcinq’s digital feature earlier in the year.


“It was my first photoshoot ever, and it was with PARCINQ MAGAZINE!” he exclaimed enthusiastically, reflecting on his excitement and pride in being part of and winning the campaign.



In the future, Karl also plans to focus on outside projects, with the help of KUMU and Parcinq, who have contributed a lot in his journey. Inspired by his favorite Kumu project, which was his first solo billboard, he has high expectations for the campaigns for next year, as well as their potential to change lives. For his fans, Karl hopes to share more of his jolly and clingy side with them as he continues to do more and more streams this year. 


The Cruise Line Operations student expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the people who have been there for him since the beginning. Same goes with his fans as their encouragement and love have been invaluable. As he looks to the future, his fans can anticipate even more moments and achievements from him.“You are the best, which is why I will give my best.”
