A woman in STEM, but she’s not just that; she’s also someone who embraces creativity and expresses herself through art. Safe to say, she’s the best of both worlds.
At 24, KUMU content creator Lee Anne Isab (@Leeanneisab) knows what she wants in life, because to her, life’s too short to settle for just one path. That’s why she’s thriving in both the structure of science as a dentist and the freedom of the arts.
“Whether it’s sculpting teeth or strumming strings, I find beauty in precision and creativity,” she tells Parcinq.
She sees herself as creative, authentic, and engaging—a mix that has driven her success as a content creator. Yet, if not for this path, she would be entirely immersed in her profession as a dentist, refining her skills and mastering the “art of creating healthy, confident smiles.” While content creation has unlocked new avenues of expression, dentistry remains her true calling, where her dedication to her craft is unwavering.
But the universe had surprises in store. What began as an unexpected detour quickly turned into an incredible journey, opening countless doors along the way. Through Kumu, she’s found not only the chance to grow her skills but also a space to evolve as a person.
“It’s been a platform that’s fostered my creativity and confidence,” she expresses. “But more than anything, Kumu introduced me to people who became like family, and for that, I’m truly grateful. It’s been a fun, transformative adventure, and I can't wait to see where it takes me next!”
Lee Anne believes that achieving her dream life is all about balance and mindfulness, which she greatly learns as a future dentist and a content creator. Staying true to her values helps her prioritize her goals, which means being intentional with her actions and mindful of their impact on others.
Success, to her, isn’t about advancing at others’ expense; it’s grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration. In her dental career, personal growth, and creative pursuits alike, she aims to build a life where her achievements lift others up and inspire them to chase their own dreams, even declaring, “Ultimately, I want my journey to empower those around me to believe in their potential.”
This Christmas season, Lee Anne simply wants to be surrounded by the people she loves. For her, the most memorable gift during the holidays isn’t something material. It’s the time spent with loved ones—being surrounded by family and friends, sharing laughter, stories, and delicious food. It’s those cherished times of togetherness that remind her what the holidays are really about.
And for this Christmas, the woman in STEM and “alagad ng arts” reminds everyone to always find the balance and beauty between precision and creativity, because in doing so, each one can create a life full of purpose, passion, and meaningful connections—just as she does on KUMU.
