Novice is thrilled to announce the launch of its debut zine, "Mga Anyo ng Bahagharing Pag-ibig," a visual publication dedicated to celebrating queer love. This inaugural edition features the works of 10 queer artists, each interpreting 10 Filipino words that encapsulate the essence and diversity of queer love in all its fascinating forms.

"We've been planning to create a zine for the longest time, and we couldn't think of a more perfect moment to launch one than during Pride Month. Pride Month is a time for reflection and visibility for the LGBTQIA+ community, and we wanted to contribute something meaningful to this vibrant celebration while championing local creatives," shares Allen Esteban, Novice’s Creative and Managing Director.

The zine proudly showcases an array of talented artists from various locations across the country, including:

"Mga Anyo ng Bahagharing Pag-ibig" offers rich artistic expressions, highlighting the diverse experiences and perspectives within the queer community. Each artist brings their own distinct style and voice, creating a collective masterpiece that honors the beauty, complexity, and resilience of queer love.

“I am very honored to be chosen by you as one of this zine's contributors. Looking forward to seeing this project come into fruition,” shared Kieltokki.

For more details, follow Novice’s social media accounts. Pre-orders for the zine will be available until the end of June at a discounted price.

Additionally, limited copies will be available for purchase at Komiket Pride, held at Ayala 30th from June 14-16, and during Spruce Zine Day at Spruce Gallery in Ortigas on June 15th. A portion of the sales will go directly to the featured creatives.
