The Baddest Under the Spotlight: BGYO is Rising as The Ace on Stage

Known as the Aces of P-pop, BGYO continues to gamble their way up top in the very competitive P-pop industry. Formed in 2018 and debuting in 2021, “Becoming the change, Going further, You and I, Originally Filipino," more famously known as BGYO is starting to make noise and raising their career in numbers. With two of their music videos getting no less than a million views, this group has swooned their so-called ‘Aces’ in just a year. Not only that, but holding concerts both locally and abroad made them proud flag bearers of P-pop worldwide. They are truly the baddest in the scene while bringing light to the stage.

From mall show appearances, brand deals, and regular Kumu live streams, this bunch has more energy to spend and more talents to show off. Regularly rehearsing for their next performances is the routine they are at now. But performing now is difficult for these natural-born stage performers. Being ever-present online may be a challenge for the world-stage artists, but it made connecting to their fans easier, especially foreign fans. Now, through Tugatog, they are excited to meet their fans once again on a huge stage. Sharing the same goal with Tugatog, and representing P-pop itself, BGYO is more than excited to present something new to the world to raise P-pop to the top.

We’re definitely into them as they prepare for something that will make everyone in the crowd draw their cards to Aces. For those dazed to do so, the boys themselves shared in an interview that they want to be known as, “Performers who keep their feet on the ground while having their heads in the clouds.”

As more and more Filipinos get into P-pop, they are more than ready to rise to the top. Oh, and they’re ready to be part of your deck of hearts.

Ready to bring you the best time of your life, BGYO will ace the Ppop stage once again on July 15, 2022 in the Mall of Asia Arena for Tugatog Filipino Music Festival! Get your tickets at SM Tickets.
