The World Is Healing Because K-pop Concerts Are Back!

It's been a long time coming, but I hope you haven’t used up all your savings on BNS TWT in the past two years because live K-pop concerts are back!

If you haven’t used your lightsticks since Covid-19 brought all live events to a halt, now’s the time to check if they’re still working because we finally have the chance to watch our faves again as the concert scene is very much alive and ready to hurt our wallets this year. 💸

The ‘Begin Again: KPOP Edition’ headlined by NCT Dream, SHINee’s Key, WEi, and Alice kicked off the much-awaited K-pop comeback in the Philippines last May 18, 2022, at the Araneta Coliseum which served as the perfect appetizer to satiate our cravings for face-to-face concerts. But that was just the beginning!

Here are more confirmed K-pop concerts to look forward to in the coming months:

BE YOU: THE WORLD WILL ADJUST

Two worlds will collide as P-pop acts BGYO, BINI, and Lady Pipay will be joining Red Velvet to make us feel the rhythm in a benefit concert for People with Special Needs at SM Mall of Asia Arena on July 22.

You’d be hitting two birds with one stone with this concert because you won’t only be seeing your favorite P-pop artists interact with Red Velvet, but you’d also be supporting a good cause! 😇

SUGAR IN MANILA

Filo Ahgases will get to see GOT7 's Youngjae again as he brings his mini-tour entitled “SUGAR” to Manila.

Imagine hearing all five tracks from his latest album live? Our ears will be blessed by his sweet honey vocals! The event will take place on July 23rd at Manila’s New Frontier Center. So mark your calendars as tickets will go on sale on July 2nd via Ticketnet.

K-POP MASTERZ IN MANILA

July 29 will be a special day for Filipino Teumes and Ahgases as TREASURE and GOT7’S BamBam and Jackson Wang are set to perform at the SM MOA Arena for the 2022 K-Pop Masterz event.

This will be TREASURE’s first overseas concert after their debut in 2020 and JackBam’s return to the MOA Arena after GOT7’s final “Keep Spinning” tour in 2019 that was held in the same venue. No big deal!😅

JUST ME ()I-DLE WORLD TOUR

It would’ve been (G)I-DLE’s second concert in the country if their first tour ‘I-LAND’ pushed through in 2020, but it’s better late than never for Filo NEVERLANDs.

The five-member girl group will finally have their concert in Manila for their “Just Me ()I-DLE” world tour on September 11 at an unannounced venue and we can’t wait to see one of our favorite 4th generation girl groups in flesh! (For real this time)🤞🏻

BE THE SUN WORLD TOUR

Two years after their ‘Ode to You’ world tour in Manila last February 8, 2020, the kings of synchronization, SEVENTEEN, will be back for a two-night concert to bring the heat at the MOA Arena on October 8 & 9 for their ‘BE THE SUN’ world tour.

All 13 members will be complete this time for the group’s leader, S.coups (Choi Seung Cheol), will finally be present to give the Carats the best SEVENTEEN concert experience possible. It will surely be an “aju nice” treat for SEVENTEEN’s fans. 💎

ACT: LOVE SICK

Last but not least (for now), Filipino MOAs will be rocking the whole MOA Arena as the good boys gone bad, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, are bringing their ‘Act: Love Sick’ world tour to Manila for two consecutive nights on October 15-16.

This will be TXT’s first world tour since their debut in 2019, so you wouldn’t want to miss the chance of feeling like Cinderella naega byeonhae with TXT and your fellow MOAs live. 🗣

BONUS: Jessi also confirmed that she’s coming to the Philippines during her Instagram live. The Korean-American rapper and singer also mentioned that they are just finalizing the venue of the show and they’re good to go. We can’t wait to see you here, Jessi!

If you didn’t see your ults in the list above, don’t worry! According to a reliable source, there are more dates to follow and there’s still one confirmed show on October 29 that has yet to be announced. So don’t lose hope because your ults might be coming here too!

One last thing to remember, the best seat at a concert is the one you can afford.

K-pop concerts have their way of giving you the best experience regardless of where you are seated, so just purchase whatever fits within your budget and have a good time. After all, we K-pop stans just want to hear and watch our idols perform live at least once in our lifetime, right?
