Zach Guerrero’s Plot Twist: From Dentist Dreams to Screen Crush

What happens when a small-town boy trades dental tools for scripts and cameras? For Zach Guerrero, the answer came with one bold step—and a few million viewers watching.

Born and raised in the surfing town of Baler, Aurora, Zach grew up surrounded by waves and simplicity. But unlike most kids drawn to the sea, he once dreamed of opening his own dental clinic. “Being a dentist and being an actor both make people smile,” he shares with a grin. Turns out, he’s doing just that—just in a different way.

“When you enter showbiz, you need to show everyone the reason why you’re there,” he reflects. “You have to stay rooted and stay authentic. I wanted to show the world that I may be a simple, probinsyano guy, but I have big dreams that I’m determined to achieve.”

That authenticity became his quiet strength inside the country’s most-watched house. On Pinoy Big Brother, Zach didn’t just celebrate his 23rd birthday—he celebrated a turning point. “Makikita mo talaga yung differences ng bawat tao, and we all come from many backgrounds, so that means we also need the patience to really understand each other,” he shares.

The experience unlocked something new. “Lumawak yung mundo ko, at lumawak din ang pangarap ko,” Zach says. “Masaya pala ang acting, because you get to live and play different characters.”

Now stepping into his acting era, Zach stars as Bert in iWantTFC’s Ghosting, bringing the same warmth and sincerity that first captured audiences’ hearts. “Zach and Bert are both loving, especially to their parents and grandparents. We’re both shy and homebuddies,” he laughs. Even on off days, you’ll find him on set, observing, learning, and soaking up everything he can.

Still, fame hasn’t shaken his sense of home. “Someday, I want to give back to my hometown, especially to my high school and my teachers there,” he says. “I plan to use my influence not just to entertain but also to empower, make the youth dream big, just like me.”
