Meet Kumu x PARCINQ Finalists: Prince and JB Carnaje

Jeffrey Hernandez

Jeffrey Hernandez (@prince), aka Prince of Kumu, has proven that manifestation coupled with hard work can make everything come to fruition. From doing commercials and music video shoots to magazine cover features, gala shows, and much more, 2023 became a year of firsts for the face of Kumu.

"I remain grateful to everyone who, in one way or another, helped me achieve these firsts,” expresses Prince, while feeling nothing but blessed for the endless opportunities.

Navigating an unfamiliar territory by not securing the coveted first place might seem uncharacteristic for the Prince of Kumu. However, revisiting his outlook on winning, this is no big deal for Prince; it's simply a new starting point for improvement.

"One goal I continue to achieve is to get better every day. I treat each day as a learning experience that I can use to improve, both in my personal life and as a content creator."

For Prince, 365 days is not enough, as he is consistently seeking ways to improve. Committed to offering something fresh every time, Prince is truly dedicated to his craft. This character is why he rightfully deserves all his achievements this year.

There’s no denying that this year has been eventful and memorable for Prince. He considers the family built and numerous friendships formed within the app to be the most unexpected gift he received this year.

Prince adds that receiving sweet messages from Pringles is always a standout-worthy moment. It brings joy to his heart, driving him to do better. Being considered an inspiration for others is an affirmation that he's heading in the right direction, and Prince feels the same way.

"To my ever-supportive PRINGLES family, know that every win, small or big, I share it all with all of you. There’s no Prince without you, and in everything I do, I include you all as my inspirations."

Prince hopes that 2024 holds promises as extraordinary as 2023. While we await that, we also hope for one more thing: may Prince's year of firsts turn into a year of even more in the next chapter.

John Bryan Carnaje

They say good things come in threes. True enough, John Bryan Carnaje (@jbcarnaje) is a name that rings a bell within the Kumu x PARCINQ community. Working with the magazine thrice in a row, JB warmly describes it as, “It feels like home.”

The content creator has quality streams and more connections listed on his 2023 bucket list. With the support of Jbelievers, he easily checked off all these accomplishments. However, there's still one goal on the horizon: continue being better.

The year isn't over yet, and it might be early to tell, but JB's drive for improvement is already evident in the numerous projects and overwhelming support he has received. From being a frequent campaign joiner, winning consistently, to clinching the Dazzling Performer award at the Kumu Gala, gracing another magazine feature just wraps up JB's 2023 journey.

“To be featured in PARCINQ is one of the unexpected gifts that I have received this year. I am thankful for the support given to me by my Jbelievers family.”

Apart from his solid support system and excellent content creation skills, for JB to achieve all this, there must have been something within him that makes him deserving of these blessings. While I try to find answers, JB shares his 2024 resolution: "I am aiming for more positive vibes, quality streams, and more opportunities for all streamers."

This season is a time to make wishes, and JB not only hopes for himself but also shares those wishes with others. JB’s selflessness is truly remarkable, and it's easy to see why he describes 2023 as a year of gratitude and blessings.
